We are trying to remove all color and flavor from beer to make a nuetral base of ethanol and water to create flavored malt beverages. Does anyone know specifically what reverse osmosis equipment or other filtration would be adequate for a 30BBL system? Suggestions for the malt base recipe would be appreciated too. Thanks

A large manufacturer of flavored malt beverages (a client from a past employer) used carbon filtration for color/flavor removal.
Carbon filtration is commonly used for removing color in various applications.
Since you're removing all color/flavor provided by the malt, your malt choice can be solely based on economics and consistency. Domestic two and six row varieties are consistent, relatively inexpensive, and diastatic juggernauts.Kyle Kohlmorgen

I was just researching this topic and am glad I found it! Any suggestions for filtering systems? We are looking to throw our hat in the adult seltzer market too. We currently brew into 30 bbl fermenters and this would be our clear base for the beverages.
