Position: Brewer
Status: Full-Time

The Brewer position will be responsible for daily brewing operations and any cellaring and packaging duties. The right candidate will be able to wear many different hats while being safety-minded, efficient, quality-focused, have a great work ethic, a positive attitude and be part of the Elevation team.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Brewing on our 15-barrel brewhouse
• Perform cellar operations including monitoring gravities and
fermentation temperatures
• DE Filtration
• Yeast handling/propagation
• Carbonation of beer in brite tanks
• CIP (brewhouse, fermenters, packaging)
• Knowledge of all facets of packaging
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe brewing environment
Job Requirements:
• 3 years production brewery experience, preferably producing 10,000 + bbls/year
• Ability to work in a fast pace, constantly changing work environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends as well as first, second, or third shifts.
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Strong mechanical and problem solving skills
• Familiar with Microsoft Office
• Lab experience is a plus
• Physical requirements: Our Brewer must be able to bend over, twist, kneel, stand for the duration of a shift, lift 55 pounds and maneuver 160 pounds repeatedly. Requires proper handling of hazardous materials and operation of complex machinery.
