    Burner

We have the same EC300 on our 7bbl kettle and it worked great out of the box. Was your kettle set up for this particular burner. Meaning is their sufficient air gap around the burner pipe? Is the burner depth correct? The manufacture reccomends not choking your gas supply because this are not variable fire burners. They do make a adjustable flame burner though. I wish we had gone that route. Our only complaint is that it is too damn powerful. Boils over if your not careful. Boiling by the end of runoff. BTW we run 8" double wall duravent straight up through the roof with no dampener about 18 ft. Our gas guy checked levels and everything was great. Good luck

We got it up & running and have been brewing since August 2014. We had to lower the btu's on the 400K, so it takes a bit longer to get to boil but other than that, they work great.
