Part-time Director of Sales
Builds relationships with existing accounts and avidly pursues new opportunities for Ex Novo in the draft beer market.
* Works with founder and master brewer on production schedule and sales projections.
* Establishes and maintains Ex Novo brand throughout product lines, promotional materials and events.
* Attends events promoting our brewery, sometimes outside the Portland area.
* Works with Director of Marketing to support sales efforts.
* Ensures that customers have appropriate marketing support.
Education/Experience
Bachelors Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business. Current MBA or other graduate students encouraged to apply. Applicable experience in beer distribution in place of education OK. Preference given to candidates with 3+ years of sales experience.

Ex Novo (www.exnovobrew.com) translates as "from scratch,” and we’ve been hard at work building a 10-barrel non-profit brewery from the ground up. That's right, we said non-profit. Don't get us wrong, we aren't opposed to making money. On the contrary, we want to make as much as we can, so we can give it away. We are committed to donating 100% of our net profits to organizations that are working to affect positive social change both in Portland and around the world. We opened our doors in July of 2014 and are in full swing! We’re looking for a driven, ideas-oriented sales professional – or grad student with a few years of prior experience – to work part-time as our Director of Sales. This is an unpaid position – though we do have beer – with an expected 10-15 hour/week commitment. We’d love to have a savvy beer-lover come work for us for a year.
