    Description
    BEER WORKS is looking for a highly motivated brewery representative to grow the brewery's packaged beer sales and brand presence throughout Boston Metro-South/Southwest, the South Shore, and Cape Cod. BEER WORKS currently produces 3 product lines and over 12 styles for distribution throughout Massachusetts with planned expansion. BEER WORKS has successfully grown from its first pub brewery across from Fenway Park opened in 1992 to 6 [soon to be 7] locations in Massachusetts.

    Responsibilities
    • Develop sales strategy and execution plan for a given territory in close coordination with Sales Leadership
    • Target key accounts with innovative sales techniques to convey brand message and obtain key product placement
    • Open new accounts while simultaneously managing customer satisfaction at existing accounts
    • Design and organize product displays at retailer
    • Manage relationship with distributor to meet and exceed customer expectations on product and service quality
    • Organize and execute tastings, promotions, and other product-centric events

    Requirements
    • 1-3 years of alcoholic beverage sales experience with a supplier, distributor, or retailer required -- candidates without this experience will not be considered
    • Reliable self-transportation and ability to easily access sales territory and downtown Boston office
    • Valid driver’s license + clean driving record
    • HIGHLY organized
    • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
    • Knowledge of the structure and dynamics of the beer industry, including distributor relationships, pricing and promotional common practices, and legal boundaries
    • Ability to motivate and influence others
    • Knowledge and passion for beer
    • Comfort working both in teams and independently
    • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial attitude
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
