Busy Halifax Canada, Brewpub seeking experienced Brewmaster.
Current production is about 500HL per year, and is produced solely by the brewmaster. All sold in-house and made on our 8bbl DME Electric brewhouse. You'll need to continue the high quality and consistency of our core brands as well as create seasonal specialties to round out the tap selection.
Looking to fill the position Immediately in order to train with our current award winning brewmaster!

Preferred Qualifications:
2 years brewpub or production brewing experience
Residing and legally qualified to work in Canada with the desire to re locate to Halifax
Technical training an asset but not essential
Track record of high quality and style diversity
Ability and willingness to work with the public
Ability to lift & move grain, kegs and normal brewery stuff
Ability to climb latters and work in high places
Consistently meet deadlines and goals
Willingness to train server staff
Duties include:
•Manage and train brewery staff
•Quality Control
•Tax reporting
•Brewery and associated systems cleaning & maintenance
•Coordinate vendors for brewery & equipment repairs
•Hands on brewing
•Recipe development
•Forecasting production and ingredient ordering
•Cost control
•Coordinate and attend outside events
