  • bench pH meter recommendations

    Hello all,

Anyone have a recommendation for a bench pH meter? Under $500 is preferred but I'm open to other options as well.

I have a Martini Mi150 right now. It's kind of flaky....

    Suggestions welcome,

    Thanks

Yes, I totally need a new electrode. Working on that now, and it gets stored in ph 4 buffer. Just curious if anyone had a meter they *love*.

pH measurement by its very nature is tough.

      WaterEng,

Thanks for this info. All this time I thought storing the probe in pH 4 solution was a good idea. By coincidence I just received some KCL storage solution when I purchased more buffer solution for daily calibration. I will move to that for holding the probe on my bench.

My electrode is, in fact, refillable and I have some of the solution which shipped with the unit. I will swap out the fluid on Tuesday (next brew day) and see if that helps prior to buying a new electrode. Also, yes - my probe uses a BNC connection and it makes sense that they would be universal, I suppose.

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it!
