    Mighty Squirrel is an exciting start-up beer company that is launching its first beer in Boston in April for physically active, health-conscious craft beer lovers. We are looking for an exceptionally talented sales representative who would thrive in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic work environment, and most importantly, is someone who loves to have fun. Our ideal candidate is someone whose entrepreneurial spirit and passion for craft beer, sports, health, and fitness is contagious.

    Job Responsibilities
    • Understanding and embracing Mighty Squirrel’s mission, purpose, vision, and strategy and engaging wholesale and retail customers with it.
    • Responsible for all aspects of the sales territory including seeking and closing new accounts, retaining and growing current business, POS and brand visibility in accounts, staff training and beer education, and working with our Director of Sales and our distributor to execute and manage our positions in the market.
    • Achieving sales and marketing goals set on a quarterly basis.
    • Developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with key retailers and restaurateurs in area.
    • Organizing and executing events at accounts and in the market including beer dinners, tap takeovers, festivals, tasting events, and samplings.
    • Planning and executing promotional events with key retailers that may occur at nights or weekends.
    • Keeping a weekly/bi-weekly planner of goals and account calls.
    • Working closely with our distributor to assist their team in the market in executing work-withs and sales performance initiatives.

    Requirements
    • A strong passion for craft beer, sports and active lifestyle.
    • 21 years of age.
    • 3+ years of beer industry experience, with strong knowledge of local Boston beer market.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
    • Must live in Boston area.
    • Ability to work nights and weekends and travel regionally.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to perform well in a team.
    • Candidate must have proven computer skills and be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.

    Physical Requirements
    • Candidate should be willing and able to lift at least 31.5 pounds and move 165 pound kegs.

    Compensation
    • Salary and bonus based on experience and results.
