Thread: no head!!!!!!

    Unhappy no head!!!!!!

    i recently brewed a 5 gal. batch of a double i.p.a., using Am. 2 row, crystal 20, grm. vienna, and wheat malts. i just opened a bottle,(after 4 weeks) poured a glass... no head(well, none really to speak of) something i not seeing?...........

    You are going to get a lot more help with homebrewing questions if you post your questions to the experts at homebrewing digest

    That having been said, you need healthy yeast still in suspension, a source of residual sugar, and proper storage temperature to achieve bottle conditioning.

    Some really good books are Dave Miller's and Charlie Papazian's homebrew guides. Search amazon.
