Gilgamesh Brewing is looking for a experienced Head Brewer to help run our state of the art brewery.
This is what we are looking for in a Brewer.
-2 years experience as a Head Brewer in a production brewery.
-Bottling/canning line experience
-Degree/certificate in brewing or fermentation science (preferable).
-Ability to plan brewery schedules and employee schedules.
-Manage inventory
-Communicate effectively with production managers, brewery employees, sales staff and owners.
-Participate in brewery tours, brewers dinners and other outside brewery promotions.
-Commitment to quality and consistency.
-Take ownership in the position.
-Brew like a Champion!
Gilgamesh Brewing strongly believes that only happy brewers brew good beer. Enthusiasm and a Gregarious behavior is needed to amalgamate with all factions of the brewery. This position offers the ability for advancement.
Gilgamesh in return, offers a great work environment with cutting edge technology and equipment. We have Barrel aging and sour beer projects in place and are looking to develop the projects further. Below is our brewery's bio.

Gilgamesh Brewing is a family owned and operated brewery located in Salem Oregon. Founders, Mike, Nick, Matt and Lee Radtke started their brewery in an out building on small acreage in the foothills south of Salem in 2009. The family brewers developed their unique brews, frequently using non-traditional ingredients, on repurposed dairy equipment. Their beers quickly became popular with the local community, and outlying areas. Gilgamesh had outgrown their facility by 2011, and began looking for a new location. They refurbished their new facility late 2012 on an amazing 3 acre lot and dubbed it “The Campus”. A large family restaurant and pub with a fantastic outdoor patio sits adjacent to the rehabilitated Pringle Creek. The property also has a large outdoor events area which works great for large parties, reunions and occasionally weddings. The large manufacturing building houses their new state of the art brewing facility. Their high efficiency brew house reduces energy, water, raw ingredients and labor to provide a more sustainable product. The brewhouse also gives them the freedom to create new and unique beers to keep their customers on their toes. A lot of Gilgamesh Brewing’s success can be attributed to their award winning and unique brew Mamba; brewed with black tea and tangerine peal with only a smattering of hops. A light flavored and smooth bodied brew has a taste that can only speak for itself. Other flagship beers such as Oedipus IPA, HopScotch strong ale and Vader CDA can be found on draft, in 22 oz bottles and in 12oz 6 pack cans all over Oregon, Washington and as far west as Japan. Gilgamesh provides a plethora of different beers; simply put, “A Beer for Everyone!”
