Cellar/Packaging Position
Renegade Brewing Company opened in June 2011 in Denver, CO. We currently package our beer in cans and kegs. We also operate a busy tasting room at our brewery location. Our rapidly growing company is seeking a qualified individual with experience in cellaring and can packaging. Primary duties are listed below, however, we are a small company and everyone is expected to perform duties where needed. Please familiarize yourself with Renegade before applying for the position. We are seeking an individual with an absolute desire to work for Renegade, not just a desire to work in a brewery. This position is full-time hourly with paid vacation and sick leave as well as health and dental benefits.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
-CIP of fermenters/bright tanks
-Beer transfers/prep for packaging
-Fermentation monitoring
-Kegging beer
-Running the canning (experience as a canning line operator is a must)
-Assisting brewers with day to day tasks
-Upkeep & cleanliness of cellars
-Cold storage warehousing (forklift certification a plus)
-Preparing orders for shipment
Qualified Candidates will possess the following:
-At least six months of professional (paid) brewery experience
-Strict attention to detail
-Strong knowledge of the brewing process
-Working to high quality standards with and without direct supervision
-Ability to lift 55 lbs to shoulder height repeatedly
-Ability to maneuver full beer kegs (165 lbs)
-A positive attitude
-The ability to communicate and interact positively with coworkers
