    The main responsibilities of the Market Manager are acting as Tap It Brewing’s expert at the market level, constantly obtaining distributor share of mind to grow sales in designated territory, organizing and/or participating in field events to assist with product sell-through/sampling, create and maintain key market relationships with distributor personnel and retailers (on/off-premise) that provide influence in market dynamic, work with distributor partners to place sales orders in a timely manner while keeping logistical guidelines in mind (pallet layers, minimum quantity orders, etc).
    Position Responsibilities:
    • Managing and working with distributors on a day to day basis, ensuring adherence to our brand policies, distribution sales are achieved and promotional activity is taking place
    • Working with distributor sales reps, observing competitive market activity and evaluating distributor execution against our initiatives
    • Meet with key on-/off-premise accounts within assigned area to develop strong working relationships
    • Insure Sales/Purchase Orders are placed on a timely and efficient manner by constantly communicating with distributor partner and finalizing an order before sending it to Tap It personnel
    • Present and leverage our brands for increased volume and assist distributor in attaining our goals and objectives
    • Be visible at the distributor office, meeting with sales representatives and management to ensure share of mind
    • Align with key local events and participate where the opportunity fits our goals
    • Act as primary contact for distributor sales teams to ensure they are informed of objectives and programs while providing support for all sales related activities
    • Execute product samplings at accounts and with the distributor sales teams
    • Stay informed of customer and consumer trends
    • Maintain calendar of activities and promotions ensuring distributor is informed in all Tap It’s field activation/participation
    • Provide weekly/monthly market activity report to Sales Director, including list of objectives, accomplishments, competitive activity, special projects and/or any specific needs
    • Review sales and execution updates with distributor management
    • Provide feedback on effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives including chain programs, POS, sponsorships, incentives, etc.
    • Special projects such as verifying pricing and or distribution at on-and off- premise accounts
    • Excellent administrative and communication skills at all levels (end-consumer to distributor VP) to minimize costly errors and miscommunication issues

    Qualifications:
    21+ years old
    Willing to work up to 2 weekends a month
    2-5 years of beer industry experience (beertender, bottle shop beer buyer, sales, events, distributor, etc)
    1-3 years of beer sales/marketing preferred
    Excellent with people
    Attention to detail

    Compensation
    Health & Dental
    $35,000 base + up to $10,000 in commission quarterly
    Car, cell phone, and internet allowance
    Paid gas
