  • Aeration gaskets or Sani-Lock Fittings

Has anybody used Sani-lock Quick Connect Tri Clamp fittings made by Rubberfab for hose ends? Has anybody used Tri Clamp gaskets from Rubberfab that have 2 micron screens for aeration or carbonation? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Kevin

I've used something similar (it may have been the same) as the sani lock fittings - but only for washdown hoses. It was used as a way to change from a spray nozzle to a TC fitting - These days I prefer to have the TC fitting hardplumbed on my washdown hose with a TC on the spray nozzle to attach it.

As for the diffuser gaskets I've never heard of using them. I'm honestly not sure how they would be used or how they would be able to help the process at all.

    Cheers

Why add another junction to a hose end? Go with a Hyda-loc (very similar to that clamp thing) or a TC.

I've seen the gaskets shown, but they were always referred to as "strainer gaskets". I doubt they'd work anywhere near as well a proper carbonating/oxygenating stone.
