    We're interested in experimenting with going whirlfloc free. We don't really mind if the beer (IPA) is hazy. At the same time, getting a little cold feet because we don't want it to be HIDEOUSLY trubtastic... Anybody out there have experience brewing highly hopped beers with no whirlfloc? What kinds of differences have you noticed?

    I have never used and kettle fining in my beers. my IPA has about 10 lbs hops in the kettle and another 10 dry hopped. to get clear finished beer I add 100 ml biofine clear to the beer in the brite tank and it is crystal clear in 3 days.
