    In need of a valve! 1.5" Butterfly Valve with Micro-Metric Handle. Alternative?

    where to find one of these? is there an alternative. we us this one for incremental control flow out of 15 bbl LT. Ive seen them for $350.
    i see GWKent has a diaphragm valve for $200. Not sure how dependable it might be or if itll serve the same purpose.

    We have one of those valves on our JVNW system. Check them out.

      yeah saw that. just didnt know if there was a slightly cheaper alternative with that much control. never used a diaphragm valve before.

        We have one on our SK prospero brewhouse, you might be able inquire with them also.

          Diaphragm valve gives much better/ more precise control.

          Butterfly valve with fancy handle = less precise control.

              I agree with this. Butterfly valves (like most 1/4 turn valves) are not normally recommended for flow control.
