    Fulton Brewing Company – Twin Cities Metro Sales Representative

    Fulton is a Minneapolis brewery founded in 2009. We own and operate two breweries: a 20 bbl brewery and taproom in downtown Minneapolis next to Target Field, and a brand new 50,000 square foot production brewery in Northeast Minneapolis. In 2015, Fulton will produce about 25,000 barrels, sold mostly in the Twin Cities metro area.     Sound like a place you’d like to be? We are seeking a Twin Cities Metro Sales Representative to join our rapidly growing company. The right individual is a leader who works well with others, focuses on quality and technical excellence, loves to work and play hard, embraces opportunities for continuous learning and improvement, and is passionate about extraordinary beer.

    This position will involve working closely with the VP of Sales and Marketing to effectively continue to grow Fulton Brewing Company's business on a daily basis.

    COMPENSATION: salary, 10 days of paid time off, term life insurance, short and long-term disability, 401(k), beer allotment, mileage reimbursement and expense account.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Sales and Distribution

    • Introduction and ongoing education with of our beers with retailers, including restaurants, bars, and off-premise accounts to drive sales of current and new products
    • Implement Sales and Marketing programs with retailers
    • Develop and maintain expert beer knowledge and understanding of our portfolio
    • Conduct wait staff/bartender educations, beer tastings, and evening on premise promotions on a regular basis
    • Work collaboratively with current Distributor sales representatives on a weekly/ongoing basis
    • Work with VP of Sales and Marketing to develop new markets, and build relationships with new distributor sales reps, retailers, etc…
    • Manage festivals/events including set up, staffing, break down, cleaning of equipment, and recapping of event
    • Maintain responsible marketing expenses to achieve maximum return on investment
    • Achieve and maintain Fulton Brewing standards within entire account universe
    o Ensure that the quality standards of Fulton are clearly understood and enforced by distributors and retailers
    o Ongoing critical assessment of Fulton’s beer in the market

    KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
    • Enthusiastic, Outgoing and Positive Attitude about the craft beer business and an overall love of craft beer
    • Reside in greater Twin Cities Metro area
    • Clean DMV record
    • Sales experience and/or knowledge of distributor trade practices a plus
    • Ability to complete tasks with limited direction and supervision
    • Ability to multitask and problem solve
    • Ability and desire to speak in front of large groups
    • Flexible work schedule, including night and weekends
    • Ability to travel regularly to various markets within Minnesota
    • Some overnight travel required, anywhere from 0-5 times a month
    • Familiarity with and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
