  • Producing wash for a distillery

I have been approached about producing wash for a new distillery while they wait for their mash equipment to be built. Since they would remove it and ferment at their own facility, are there any issues at all regarding my license I need to be aware of?

    Blackstone

I do not have the answer to your question. I do know that Blackstone Brewing out of Nashville has some experience with producing wash for distilleries and they are pretty cool guys. Hope this helps.

Did you ever go this route?....

We've just been approached by a distillery, so was curious if you ever ended up pursuing this.

If it is only wort (no alcohol) you have no problems with the ABC or TTB. No paper work is needed.
