We are a fully funded start-up brewery in Austin Texas, searching for both a highly qualified Head Brewer and an Assistant Brewer.
Both positions require extensive commercial experience and a stellar resume. Brewer(s) should be proficient in all areas of the brewery. This includes recipe formulation, laboratory operations, brewing & packaging, as well as QA/QC, staff training and documentation. Head Brewer must be able to oversee all aspects of the brewing operation, from grain to glass. Formal education as well as industry supportive degrees are a plus for both positions.
We will primarily brew ales, but would like to experiment with lagers, barrel aged beers and sour beers as well. Use of the pilot system is highly encouraged, and all ideas are warmly welcomed. Excellent communication skills and a positive personality are a must.
Along with a platform for showcasing your talents, an attractive base salary and performance bonuses will be offered.
We are an energetic family owned company opening an exciting destination brewery in the live music capitol of the world! We have a very unique opportunity to introduce and market our beer to our local and visiting beer enthusiasts, as well as to millions of craft beer lovers worldwide.
