    As I work towards finalizing our can designs, I stumbled across a brochure from Ball showing an available upgrade to black can ends. A bit pricey for sure, but I am contemplating the pros/cons as it would look really great with our design.

    Has anyone ever used these? Is there any downside (besides cost) that I should be aware of? The one thing I can think of would be the top getting warm if you are out in the sun and thus making every sip warm or possibly even burning your lips a little when you first go to take a drink. Beyond that I can't think of anything.

    Anyone out there ever use these? Thoughts?

    If you are using pak-tek holders you would cover up that investment you made until someone took out the individual beer. Not sure what the upgrade costs or if it would work well with your marketing, but I'd probably pass unless it really worked well with your marketing theme.
