Quality Technician/Chemist

Two Roads Brewing Company, in Stratford, CT, is hiring a Quality Control Technician/Chemist.

Responsibilities of the position include:

• Calibration & maintenance of analytical instruments including pH meters, haze meter, Alcolyzer, density meters, dissolved oxygen meters
• Analytical measurements on green and bright beer including gravity/density, ABV, pH, haze, IBU, color
• Measurements of dissolved gasses surrounding the packaging process
• Package Integrity and Quality testing including fill-volume verification and double-seam analysis of cans.
• Routine GC analysis for VDK’s
• Data entry, analysis, and tracking.
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications of the position include:

• B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, or related field of study is preferred
• Laboratory or Research experience with analytical techniques required. Brewing lab experience a plus.
• Experience following SOPs and GLPs preferred.
• Superior attention to detail, organizational skills, and work ethic
• Good communication skills
• Proficiency with computer programs such as Word and Excel
• Love of craft beer
• A sense of humor is a plus!
