Manitou Brewing Company, located in Manitou Springs, CO, is looking for a cellar operator. MBC is a small 5bbl brew pub that sells 100% of its beer on premises. Manitou Springs is located just west of Colorado Springs.
Ideal candidate has commercial brewery experience but we will train the right motivated and ambitious individual. We are really looking for an individual that is passionate about the beer industry and wants to advance their career within it. Ideal candidate that performs well will be given more responsibility with time.
Duties will initially include:
-CIP of FV's, MLT, Kettle, Heat Exchanger
-CIP of BBT's under pressure
-Beer transfer
-Kegging
-Receiving grain
-Milling grain
-Keg washing
-General brewery cleaning
-Cleaning tap lines
Cellar operator should be able to repeatedly lift at least 55lbs shoulder high. This position requires 30-40 hrs/week during the summer. If you are interested in this position, please email your resume to dom at manitou-brewing dot com.
