    Pushing with Water/CO2

I've heard of using a PIG system for a pipe, but have yet to experiment with one.

As far as using water goes, what sort of levels of DO are acceptable in your final product? Are you measuring them?

I've pushed with both water and CO2 for pipes. If you are going to be using water that is not DA, I would measure the total volume in your pipe. If you have a flow meter, you could calculate how long it will take to reach your canning line, assuming you have the same constant flow from your water source. Even if you just have to borrow a flow meter, you could have a rough idea of how long it takes to reach there, and obviously use a Tee connection with a sightlglass to doublecheck. C02 is likely the better option for the overall quality of your beer though. It might be a bit more expensive than water, but the overall stability of your beer will be better.

    Cheers,

    Iain
