Creative Brewer Needed in Slippery Rock, PA.
North Country Brewing Company, which is located in Western Pennsylvania just north of Pittsburgh., is looking for a very creative brewer to take over brewing responsibilities at our Brew Pub location in Slippery Rock, PA.
North Country Brewing has 3 separate locations.
• The Harmony Inn which has a 1.5 bbl system.
• North Country Brewing, Brew Pub which has a 7 bbl, 2 vessel system.
• Production facility which has a 30 bbl 4 vessel system.
We need an experienced and creative brewer to take over all brewing duties at our Pub in downtown Slippery Rock.
Although there are some staple recipes that need to be on tap, this brewer will have a lot of creative freedom. Since our flagships and some seasonals are brewed at the Production facility there will be a great deal of leeway and encouragement to try new and weird recipes.
Requirements:
• Must have brewing experience. You will mostly be on your own but with the support of the rest of our brewing team.
• Must be physically able to perform all duties of a brewer. Since qualified candidates will have experience you already know what this means so I won’t bore with a list.
• Must have a great work ethic.
• Must have an even greater sense of humor. We work hard but we have a lot of fun!
• Must work safely and efficiently.
• Most importantly, you must be team oriented. Although you will be mostly on your own day to day you will be part of a pretty awesome team! We work together to spread out the work load.
