  • Researching chillers and companies

    Hey all,

So I am needing to purchase a small chiller asap - and am looking at small chillers that can remain inside and do not need 3 phase power. I've been looking over a chiller by g&d chillers, and another by prorefrigeration. I'm going to be calling Whaley Products and Advantage Chillers. Are there any other companies that I should be dropping a line to, or any warnings on particular companies on this list. This purchase has to be a success - no room for a bad purchase on this one. Figured id post before pulling the trigger.

Also Try JC Younger. I'm liking my G&D 7 hp so far.

I just installed a G&D and they were great to work with. No issues at all.

        Chiller

You can also use a 1/2 0r 3/4 hp trunk line chiller. They use one dedicated pump per tank so no solenoids or trunk lines to mess with. There are lots of threads on here of people using them successfully. 110V plug and play. Definitely the fastest way to get up and running or a good temporary solution. We use to two of them now for 7BBL tanks. Just thought Id throw that out there
