Summary:
The Operations Assistant is responsible for day-to-day production activities around the distillery, and assists with product and process decisions. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a diverse skill set who can work well in a team environment. The Operations Assistant receives daily direction and guidance from the Distillery Operations team.
Scope of Position:
• Production operations; dumping whiskey barrels, filling bottles, labeling bottles, and packaging finished goods
• Warehousing operations; materials receiving and handling
• Ensuring product quality throughout process
• Maintaining a safe working environment
• Keeping the distillery looking its best
Skill Requirements:
• Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or the equivalent
• Must have a high aptitude and ambition for learning
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic competence in word, excel, and e-mail
• Pass a background check
