The Hand and Malt, Korea’s premier producer of hand crafted beverages, is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager to maintain the brewery and cidery’s product quality.
Job description: We are looking for someone with experience in the QA field looking for an adventure outside of the US. Our motto is Quality and Consistency and due to our fast expansion we need someone to join our family and help take us to the next level.
Job responsibilities:
- Develop and perform standardized laboratory tests on in-process and finished products, including must, wort and yeast.
- Develop and perform general chemical and microbiological analyses
- Conduct daily sensory analysis procedures
- Oversee yeast prop and management
- Maintain laboratory and calibration of equipment
- Track records online
- Work with the executive team to improve SOPs and yield output
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in microbiology, organic chemistry, brewing or fermentation science
- At least 4 years of laboratory or quality control experience, with Quality Assurance management experience preferred
- Strong work ethics and hungry attitude
