    Job Overview

    This position is located in Nampa, ID. Warehouse/Packaging Technician is responsible to maintain and track all raw goods inventory coming into and all finished goods inventory going out of the brewery, following Mother Earth’s Standard Operating Procedures as directed by the Head Brewer. Initially, this position will also assist with various packaging responsibilities. Over time, the position will comprise full time Warehouse and Inventory duties.

    General Responsibilities
    • Rotate inventory on weekly basis to ensure sustained freshness to distributors.
    • Maintain up to date inventory spreadsheets daily.
    • Prepare outgoing orders to distributors in an accurate and timely manner using a first in first out methodology.
    • Receive all incoming orders to the brewery, verify type and quantity match receipt.
    • Maintain all storage areas in a neat and organized manner at all times.
    • Assist Head Brewer in testing outgoing product to ensure quality meets company standards.
    • Develop and implement spatial management procedures to put away product while allowing in-house distribution to access product for delivery in a timely manner.
    • Perform all organization and order prep tasks while maintaining product at a constant temperature by minimizing time product is outside cold box.
    • Operate LPG forklift and electric pallet jack proficiently in tight spaces
    • Follow all Mother Earth safety standards.
    • Alert Head Brewer immediately of any quality control issues.
    • Continually evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of current methodologies and provide feedback to Management to develop and implement new or improved methodologies to improve quality or reduce cost
    • Participate in set up, operation, and cleanup of bottling and canning line.
    • Assist in routine maintenance of machinery.
    • Rotate between various functions of bottling and canning lines. Continuously follow all quality control standards and procedures at each station.
    • Move packaged beer to cold box in an organized manner.
    • Clean kegs according to Mother Earth SOPs
    • Other duties as directed by Head Brewer or Management.

    Qualifications
    • Strong attention to detail, ability to independently problem solve spatial challenges quickly and efficiently
    • Ability to use computer and software applications used by the Company such as Microsoft Excel, Word, etc
    • Ability to lift 50 pound repetitively for extended periods of time
    • Forklift certified a plus
    • Must have reliable transportation, be punctual and maintain good attendance
    • Flexible schedule
    • High school diploma or GED
