NOW HIRING: St. Florian’s Brewery – Inside Sales

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include, but not limited to:
• Sales, marketing & support to your customer base
• Ability to follow-up on your tasks
• Growth & development of your assigned region by determining focus areas, & assisting Brand Representative(s) with the scheduling of in-person presentations via telephone & email presentations to customers
• Educate potential & existing customers about the St. Florian’s Brewery story & share information about beers
• Ensure each customer is treated with the best possible customer care, building brand confidence
• Receive & process customer orders
• Understand fundamentals of St. Florian’s Brewery beers, including knowledge of each style & craft beer, in general
• Work as a team with other staff, as necessary, to ensure smooth & successful working environment
• Immediately report any customer concerns to the owners/management
• Maintain accurate records, including databases, files & other information, as required
• Stay current on St. Florian’s Brewery, craft beer knowledge, & our industry (events, trends, etc.), in general
• Thoroughly disperse communications about limited, seasonal &/or new releases, properly educating about product; including allocation & presale of limited releases
• Sell beer in accordance with business plan
• Maintain list of key & target accounts
• Willingness to, on occasion, coordinate, support, attend & execute promotional events & festivals with management assistance, such as samplings, beer pairing dinners, regional beer fests, etc.
• Meet or exceed your MBOs by providing input to CEO prior to beginning of each sales period to ensure alignment & accountability of both mutual goals & day-to-day performance expectations
• Perform other duties, as you see fit & as determined by management
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Food &/or Beverage Industry experience preferred.
• Valid Alcohol Seller certification issued by State of California (STAR, LEAD, ServSafe) – Proof of Completed RBS training is satisfactory fulfillment of this requirement
• Thorough comprehension of State of California ABC law
• Physically able to lift, reach, bend, stoop, use hands to finger, handle, or feel/move up to 60 pounds
• Able to work in a standing or sitting position for long periods of time
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Proven sales results, a plus
• Knowledge of & passion for our craft beer industry & the marketplace
• Strong customer service skills & friendly personality that engages customers
• VERY organized, ability to follow-through & complete tasks
• MS Office proficiency, including Excel
• Clear verbal & written communication skills, including presentation skills
• Basic mathematical skills
• Willing to be a strong part of our team & get along with co-workers
• Ability to multi-task when environment is fast-paced & take initiative to excel without direction
• Work to high quality standards, paying attention to detail, with & without direct supervision, & be driven by success
COMPENSATION: hourly + tip, bonus opportunity, paid sick leave
