  • Texas Ale Project - Seeking Texas Sales Director

    Texas Ale Project has an ambitious team, and we are looking for an intelligent, experienced, and charismatic Sales Director to lead our sales team and promotional branding efforts in Texas. This individual will need to achieve aggressive sales targets & growth rates while at the same time build strong relationships with our distributors, customers and consumers. Strong candidates take the initiative to overcome challenges by themselves and can work well in a team to grow a smaller business successfully.
    Currently Texas Ale Project is distributed in 19 counties in North Texas and is looking to expand that growth. This position will manage multiple Brewery Representatives in the North Texas area as direct reports and expansion areas as we grow. Other key responsibilities are working closely with the brewery owner/CEO and distributors on activations at large on and off premise accounts. T.A.P. has been highly successful thus far in North Texas, and we are seeking strong leaders for the continued growth of Texas Ale Project.     Qualifications for Texas Sales Manager/Director:
    • Bachelor degree or higher
    • 4+ years’ experience in sales or sales and marketing combined
    • Effectively managed a team of Sales Reps previously for 2 years
    • Entrepreneurial, energetic spirit
    • Expertise in working with alcohol distribution and sales
    • Understand pricing, promotions, and marketing tactics to effectively leverage a small marketing budget
    • Able to create and track against sales plans by consolidating sales data from different sources
    • Superior self-motivation and communication skills
    • Excel proficient; highly skilled in math
    • Willing to travel in Texas when required
