Head Brewer for Growing Brewery

A Los Angeles Growing Craft Brewery in the South Bay is looking for a Head Brewer. We need someone to keep up with our High Standards and Award Winning Beers and hopefully make some more! We are looking for someone who is passionate about his/her beer, its quality and consistency. Must be open to new ideas and a team player. We need someone who can basically run the brewery in its entirety. The Head Brew must have willingness to attend events (and talk about our great brews), assist with promotions and sales. We want someone who will grow with the company and grow as an individual. Must have strong attention to detail in everyday Brewery operations. Full-time position with some benefits.

Brewer Requirements:

- 5+ years’ experience as Head Brewer
- Yeast handling Proficiency / Propagation
- Strong Communication Skills
- Strong mechanical background
- Lab Skills and Micro understanding
- Strong Work Ethic and be able to work within a team AND independently with a great attitude
- Respect all the owners wishes/rules
- Must be at Brewery Full-time
- Ability to consult -if needed
- People Skills
- College Degree/Brewers Degree
- Award winning beers
- Recipe Development
- Desire to learn
- Strong Sanitation/cleaning background
- Ability to maintain quality and consistency of beer
- Inventory management
