    Facilities Technician
    Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, one of California's fastest growing regional craft breweries, is looking for Facilities Technician. We are in the midst of an expansion in our San Francisco facility, having purchased state-of-the-art production equipment, and are moving into an accelerated production schedule that will sustain our growth trajectory and allow us to expand upon our award winning beer selection. To do so, we are looking to add talent with a passion for craft beer and devotion to quality.

    Job Description and Responsibilities
    Role: Facilities Technician
    Reports to: Facilities Engineer

    Primary duties and responsibilities
    Daily upkeep of the entire Speakeasy facility from cleaning to maintenance. Cleaning is a day-to-day assignment whereas maintenance projects will be handed over directly from the engineer as needed. We will train for more technical duties as long as candidate keeps up with cleaning duties.
    Duties include but are not limited to:
    • Sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash and all housekeeping duties in the brewery and offices
    • Assisting engineer with the maintenance and cleaning of brewery and packaging equipment
    • Moving heavy pallets around with a dolly or pallet jack
    • Forklift operation (we will train)
    • Filling in the production line for employees who are out
    The ideal candidate would possess the following skills and qualifications:
    • Strong preference given to candidates with prior mechanical experience
    • Highly organized individual who will take pride in maintaining a clean, well-functioning brewery.
    • Ability to follow stringent sanitary practices
    • Ability to complete repetitive movements and frequently and repeatedly lift 55 lbs
    • Commitment to ensuring safe completion of complex and potentially dangerous tasks
    • Forklift certification a plus
    • A passion for craft beer!
    We offer a full health benefits package and a retirement savings plan. Compensation is $15-$16.50/hr DOE and can open the door to other opportunities.
