• Must possess a thorough understanding of brewing principles and proper preparation of domestic and international beers from grain to glass
• Develops recipes and produces a variety of beer; assist with packaging and distribution as requested
• Responsible for ordering raw materials and equipment and maintaining inventory
• Responsible for yeast management, DE filtration, wort production
• Ensure proper product handling procedures and brewing operations are adhered to and beer production is economical and technically correct
• Must be familiar with electrical equipment and various chemical cleaning solvents
• Must maintain a clean and sanitary work area
• Responsible for initiating and enforcing safety procedures, handling raw materials, products and cleaning agents; responsible for maintenance and cleaning of the draft line
• Responsible for attending local beer festivals representing the Company
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Must provide courteous and friendly customer service to all guests
• Must present self in a professional manner at all times
• Must be able to understand and conform to all Company/Department Policies and Procedures and Rules and Regulations
• Must maintain an excellent working relationship with all levels of the organization
• Performs related work as requested
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years’ experience as a Brew Master or equivalent experience as an Apprentice Brew Master.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma/Certification in required field
SKILLS: Must have good organizational and communication skills. Ability to read, write and communicate in English. Excellent computer and math skills. Must be familiar with 17/34 bbl. fermenters, 17 bbl. bright tanks and other equipment.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: Gaming Registration; Alcohol Awareness Card; Clark County Health Card.
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: 25 YRS.
