Moat Mountain Brewing Co. is looking for smart and passionate individuals to join our team!
Candidates should have a strong mechanical aptitude and be self-motivating. Past brewery experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person.
Position title: Cellar person / Packaging assistant
Everyday tasks include:
-Keg cleaning and Filling
-Inventory control
-Canning line operation
-Assisting in packaging area
-CIP of tanks
-General cleaning and maintenance
-Maintaining records of all beer transfers and packaging
-Loading and unloading trailers with forklift
-Measuring and testing of hazardous chemicals
Skills and abilities required:
-Ability to lift 50-70 LBS
-Ability to stand for long periods of time
-Ability to follow SOP’s
-Ability to effectively communicate with others in a team environment
-Ability to maintain a safe working environment
-Have a strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the brewing industry
- Ability to operate forklift and other heavy machinery
- Plumbing and electrical skills
