Incredible opportunity at small family owned craft distillery in beautiful Village of Cooperstown, Cooperstown, NY., Home of Baseball. Assume role of head distiller supervising a small team of 5 employees. Imperative to have some experience either in distillation, brewing, or wine making. Duties will include but not be limited to mashing, enzyme additions, fermentation, pot still/vertical column still mechanics, proofing, distillery laws, back office software (Stillhouse), transfer and fills, barrel aging, barrel racking, bottling, labeling, etc. etc. Great salary compensation, health benefits, and paid vacation. Whether a budding neophyte or a seasoned veteran, you will find this job exciting, stimulating, and challenging. You will work directly under the owner.
