Hutton & Smith Brewing Co is expanding from a 7 bbl system to a 30 bbl system and looking for an additional assistant brewer to join our team.
Qualities we are looking fro in an assistant brewer are
Enthusiasm for craft beer!
Previous production experience
Yeast lab/quality control experience preferred, including cell counts, viability tests, forced wort testing, propagating
Willingness to help with any and all brewhouse tasks including sanitation, kegging, washing, packaging, organization, etc.
Willingness to learn the processes and procedures in the 7 bbl brewhouse currently in place
Contributing to the installation of a 30 Bbl brewhouse in Riverside facility
Ability to maintain proper sanitation methods in place
Ability to contribute to quality control, water treatment, yeast and grain handling
Dedication to observing sanitary brewing and transferring practices
General maintenance skills
General plumbing skills
Willingness to work at promotional events, beer tents and festivals
