Basic Job Description: Lab Tech responsible for Quality Control & Assurance at MIA Beer Co.. Duties include, but are not limited to: Running weekly lab tests on all beers in production - pH and gravity data, microbiological assessments including Gram staining, yeast counts and health, wort sterility, sensory, etc; Report in with head brewer on all analyses; Input all data into spreadsheets; Inventory all lab supplies and order as necessary; Maintain sterile lab space; Maintain equipment (cleaning and calibration), such as autoclave, incubator, pH meter, etc; Assist brewers and cellarpersons with their duties as needed, including canning line operation.

All applicants should have a degree in a lab science, 2-3 years of professional lab experience, and background in the commercial beer industry.
