Job Summary:
We are seeking a full-time brewer for our new production facility that can lead brew shifts that also has the technical lab skills to guide the team through sanitation protocol and*the daily swabbing of critical points in brewing, cellar and packaging. The ideal candidate is willing to take on the tasks of a growing brewery concerns, and has the foundation of experience to tackle increased production, sour beer production, non-sour barrel aging, packaging and more.

Duties and Responsibilities (including, but not limited to, the following)
• Shift work as well as weekend shifts as required to reach company goals
• Perform all daily duties but not limited to: brew house operations, technical lab work, packaging, tank and environmental cleaning, yeast handling, cellar work, etc.
• Sensory evaluation of the brewing process at all stages for development and improvement
• Perform all maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of equipment
• Keep accurate inventory and quality management of raw materials and chemicals
• Keep accurate daily production records per company and Federal Requirements
• Repeated lifting of 55lb bags, confined space work required and knowledge of safety protocols
Job Requirements:
• Formal technical brewing education or equivalent
• Be passionate about craft beer, quality, and innovation
• Professional brewery experience - Barrel Aging knowledge a plus
• Lab experience a plus
• Be able to work well both independently and in a team environment
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be computer literate, and have familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel)
• Production and packaging experience a plus
