COMMON SPACE BREWERY: Sales Leader
Born in divisive times, WE BELIEVE that our similarities are greater than our differences and WE BELIEVE beer has the power to help us find a Common Space. We will use our passion and our energy to improve the lives of others, one pint at a time. Common Space Brewery is a start-up production Brewery and Taproom in Hawthorne, CA.
We are currently seeking a Sales Leader to join our team and help launch Common Space Brewery.
Position Summary:
The Sales Leader will serve as the embodiment of our ideals to our on-premise partners. Common Space Brewery is focused on delivering an unforgettable customer experience. This must be a team effort and all members of Common Space will work closely to achieve our goals. For our sales team - Brand Experience, Commitment to Quality and Freshness, and Loyalty to our accounts are paramount. Focus on growing our partner’s revenue and bottom line through sales of Common Space Beer is key. Additionally, Common Space Brewery will self-distribute so our Sales Leader will assist with deliveries, warehousing, forklifting, pallet jacking and anything else needed to make it happen.
The Ideal Candidate Must Be:
Inspired by the opportunity to bring people together through craft beer and driven to improve the lives of others
Personable, and passionate about the opportunity to create new relationships with partners and customers every day
Fanatical about beer quality and customer experience
Eager to learn, hungry for challenges, and constantly looking to grow
Adaptable to fill in for all jobs as needed in a fast-paced start up
Able to work within a close-knit team of brewers, managers and taproom staff
Analytical and ready to leverage technology to improve efficiencies and increase sales
Requirements:
Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
At least 21 years of age
Ability to perform deliveries including the ability to lift and move kegs and cases of beer up to 160 lbs
Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point of sale frequently
Must be able to travel
Must be able to work flexible hours/days, including weekend events
We are excited about any other skills you bring to the team, including, but not limited to:
Experience in the beer or beverage industry
Sales experience
Warehouse, trucking or logistics experience
LEAD or cicerone training
Marketing and branding experience
Acrobatic skills
