Coachella Valley Brewing Co is seeking a cellar person to assist in brewery operations. This is an entry level position, no previous brewery experience is required. This position has a potential to be full time and a lot of opportunity for growth. We are looking for a self starter who has a desire to learn and is passionate about the brewing industry.
Responsibilities Include:
-Assist the Head Brewer with any duties deemed necessary
-Willingness to work in a fast pace environment
-Ability to communicate effectively, listen and learn
-Kegging, filling, cleaning and transferring
-Bottling
-Filling orders
-Making Deliveries
Requirements:
-Must be 21 years or older
-High school diploma or GED
-Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
-Must have reliable transportation
-Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as a team
-Must be able to multitask
-Ability to follow strict Standard Operating Procedures, including cleanliness and sanitization
Physical Requirements:
-Ability to lift 55 lbs.
-Standing/Walking for an 8 hr. shift
-Climbing ladders
-Ability to work in a loud environment
-Squatting, stooping, reaching, kneeling and grasping may be required
Candidates who possess the following knowledge will be given priority consideration:
-Experience in a production brewery
-Formal brewing education
-Lab skills
-Experience with barrel aging beers
-Ability to work a forklift
Compensation is based upon experience, skill and availability.
