Head Brewer, Orlando, FL Castle Church Brewing Community
Castle Church Brewing Community (Orlando, FL) is looking for an experienced brewer, who is eager to take his or her career to the next level at the head of a growth minded, production scale brewery with a 20BBL system. As we upgrade to a 11.5K SQFT brewhouse and taproom, we seek to create a work environment that is high on employee buy-in and investment. This starts with our brewer who will be charged with both developing the character of our German influenced, late medieval era branding and eventually leading a full brewing staff with equal parts creativity and professionalism. We exclusively craft high character, soulful beers with a unique emphasis on researching and sampling the 500 year old, reinheitsgebot version of modern styles.
There is still time for brewer input on setup preferences, inventory planning, etc. on our brewhouse expansion. We will initially brew for taproom needs through grand opening but expect to be running distribution by months 6-12 and supplying to satellite taprooms by year 3. The right candidate would have experience with upstart and/or rapid growth. We look to develop a stellar reputation for our compensation and investment in our employees. Our salary, benefits, and continuing ed package will reflect that. Formal training at an accredited brewing school is preferred. Candidates with both formal education and experience will get priority. Candidates should have demonstrable work experience in all aspects of the brewing process, from grain to tap.
