Left Hand Brewing Company is looking for an outstanding candidate to join our rapidly growing market in Las Vegas, NV. The qualified candidate will be instrumental in building sales and education in the assigned territory through account promotional activity, festivals and key events. This is an entry level sales position.

• A passion for craft beer
• An understanding of brewing and beer styles is strongly preferred as well as a desire to learn more.
• Familiar with draft system dynamics and ability to troubleshoot is preferred.
• These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the Local sales & promos representative job. These include but are not limited to the ability to stand at times for long periods, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or lift awkward objects weighing up to 165lbs.
• Maintains valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to work late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays to support sales activities.
• Maintains professionalism when working in environments when the taps are flowing.
• Work well independently and a creative problem solver.
• Tolerate summer/winter temperature conditions and varying event environments.
• Proven ability to manage time and priorities in an effective and efficient manner.

• With RSM, creates a territory structure that allows for daily visits to core and prospective accounts.
• Establishes action plans prior to visiting accounts; utilizes VIP/Armadillo data and appropriate collateral/sales materials and records account calls in Karma notes.
• Always 100% prepared to sell at all times with samples and support materials.
• Actively sells to all on- and off-premise accounts.
• Monitors new account openings with the goal of being one of the first craft beer reps to make a sales call.
• Sells POS and programs to retail accounts and merchandises LHBC products where legal.
• Conducts tastings and promotions in accounts.
• Attends and pours beer at key festivals and events in the territory.
• Effectively communicates the long-term growth and profit potential of the craft beer industry to all accounts and customers in the assigned territory, specifically LHBC.

• You are familiar with the 3 tier system, our relationship with and the responsibility of our distributor partner
• Understand local laws pertaining to alcohol sales and consumption

This position reports directly to our Western Regional Sales Manager (RSM).
