  • XpressFill for cans

Has anyone used a XF2500 for filling cans? http://www.xpressfill.com/carbonated...e-filler.shtml
It looks like it could be cheaper way to start canning with the addition of a good seamer. We are probably buying a used Cask MCS system but curious on this.

    bottle filler for canning?

I checked out the site on this filler you are looking at and it seems to be only for bottle filling not canning. Also, I would be a little concerned that they do not offer some form of splash guard to protect the operator from broken glass........

    Cheers,

    Don

it looks like they just released a 4 head filler. And Xpressfill has a youtube video of it filling a can - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDUUAros5m4
The video is an open fill but it does say on their site counterpressure can filling too. Bet you could rig up a bung to slide onto it or something along the lines. Let us know if you go with it and use it for can fills too.

I was looking for something similar to a Cask MCS (open fill) the price seemed pretty good.
