Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a production brewery
Ability to follow SOPs and other documentation to produce a consistent, high quality product
Ability to work independently
Ability to think critically and react swiftly and appropriately to changing conditions
Ability to work safely with chemicals and other workplace hazards according to safety protocols
Ability to work well in a team and encourage positive morale
Ability to lift 55lb bags
Ability to operate fork lift
Desired Qualifications
Formal Brewing Education
Mechanical background, ability to maintain and make small repairs to equipment
Responsibilities:
Raw Materials Prep (milling, hop scaling, etc…)
Wort Production (full brewhouse operation)
Forklift operation
Brewing Log Record Keeping
Cellar Duties
Yeast Harvesting/ management
12 & 24 hour cell counts
Daily Gravities & pH
Biofine
Beer Transfers
Yeast to waste
Temp/ Pressure Monitoring
Fermentation/ Cellar Record Keeping
Support for Quality Control Department (cell counts, sampling, Forced Diacetyl test, meetings as needed)
CIP, cleaning, and PM of equipment and work areas
Process and recipe improvement/ adjustment
R&D Recipe Formulation and Brewing
Weekly Team Meetings
