  • Co2 Stone v. O2 stone

Probably a really dumb question but can a carbonation stone be used for oxygenation or vice versa?

Not sure if this is right, but we do, and have done so for over 20 years.

      Same thing...

A stone is a stone. The difference comes in the porosity; size and uniformity of the pores. That's it. Better ones have very small pores that are very close to the same size and have a higher wetting pressure. They can be used for any gas.

Very cool - I figured it wouldn’t matter but always best to check.
        Thanks for the input!

Yeah...but I can't see the tiny inline O2 stones doing much good for carbonating a brite full of beer
