Pagosa Brewing Co, located in the beautiful Southwest Colorado Rockies (http://www.pagosabrewing.com/), has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Head Brewer/Manager. Candidates must have:
* Ability to manage, costs, production & staff
* Effective verbal communication, organizational skills & computer/online proficiency
* Passion for great beer, dedication to quality & solid work ethic
This position will consist of all aspects of pub brewing including, but not limited to: managing staff, scheduling, grain handling, wort production, fermentation management, lab & computer duties, cellaring, inventory, cost controls, kegging, bottling, self-distribution, attendance at festivals & other events. We are on-track to brew another 700bbls this year on a sweet, customized 6bbl system. And, are looking for the right person to help us grow the operation.
Having recently celebrated our 11th anniversary and expanded, our brewpub has a proven track record of producing national award-winning beers (including GABF Gold & Silvers) along excellent cuisine and customer service. The ideal candidate should a minimum of 2+ years managing in a commercial environment. Formal brewing education is a plus. Compensation will be commensurate with skills and experience.
Pagosa Springs is located in the Four Corners Region of the Southwest (just west of Wolf Creek Ski area and north of Santa Fe, New Mexico.) Pagosa is a stunning, family-friendly ski town with excellent schools and 4-seasons of fun including; skiing and snowboarding (Nordic, downhill & back country,) 27-hole mountain view golf course, epic biking, boating, fishing, hunting, hiking & camping, along with world-class natural hot springs in-town. http://visitpagosasprings.com/
