We are looking for a part time assistant brewer working 20 hours per week, mid February start.
This is a busy cask ale brewpub that is moving into packaging and distribution.
Whilst this is initially a part-time role, as production increases so will hours.
Tasks include (amongst others):
• Brewing
• Fermentation and Conditioning management
• Cask and keg beer cellar management
• CIP
• SIP
• Packaging cask, keg, can, and bottle
• Cleaning
• Record keeping
• Stock control
• Occasional deliveries
• Working festivals and trade shows
• Other duties
Brewery experience is a plus but not a necessity.
Candidate requirements:
• Loves beer
• 21+ years of age
• Eager to learn
• Ability to lift 60lb above their head
• Lift a keg (160lb)
• Stand for long periods of time
• Work in hot and cold environments
• Work with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail
• Safety minded
• Understand the Head Brewer’s accent
