Ordnance Brewing’s growth has created a permanent full-time Lead Brewer position. This position is first-shift Monday-Friday, some evenings and weekends are possible. We are looking for dynamic individuals who enjoy working in a friendly fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Include:
Brewing to brand specification on both 7 Bbl and 50 Bbl brewhouses
Maintaining and reviewing brewing records
Following and maintaining brewery SOPs
Brewhouse vessel, process pathway, and tank CIP/SIP
Centrifugation/separation to brand specification
Beer transfers and carbs to brand specification
Working with lab staff and brewing staff on process innovation
Slaying dragons
Planning and logistics
Training new brewing staff
General QA/QC
Canning and bottling
Forklift operation
Bulk ingredient handling and inventory
Sensory
Contributing to positive team dynamic
Requirements:
At least 3-years production brewing experience
Experience managing others
Multi-tasking ability
Thorough attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication
Directable & self-motivated
Ability to lift 55 pounds, and maneuver 160
Mechanically inclined
Tolerance for working in less than ideal conditions (Hot in the summer, Cold in the winter)
Problem-solver
Ability to learn standard cleaning and sanitizing procedures
Follows tasks and projects through to completion
Bonus points for:
Experience in food processing, logistics, quality management, warehouse management, or general maintenance
