The strand brewery is located in the sister lakes area of Dowagiac Michigan over-looking Round Lake.
We opened Summer '17 and had incredible success. The brewery includes 220 seats indoors, 100 seats outdoors and an acre of open space with a beer garden and great view of the lake .We have a brewpub licence that allows us to have liquor, wine, and outside craft and domestic beers.
Since opening we have focused on local craft beer and food, which has worked very well.
Our brewing license was stalled and we focused on the other aspects of the restaurant until it was finalized.
We no have our license and are ready to brew, minus a head brewer.
We have a steam powered 7 barrel system with (2) 15 barrel fermenters, (4) 7 barrel fermenters, (2) 15 barrel bite tanks, and (1) 7 barrel brite tank. Grain mill with over-sized grist case and 98 kegs that are just waiting to be put into service.
We are looking for a head brewer with experience to start right away.
