Job Description
Liquid Riot is looking for an accomplished distiller/brewer to join our production team beginning March 2018. This full time position will involve working in the distillery and the brewery, performing all tasks necessary. Looking to fill the position in early March 2018
Primary Responsibilities
Good understanding of cellar operations
Ability to mash/brew a consistent product
Strong understanding of CIP practices
Strong understanding of distilling & brewing theory
Strong understanding of packaging operations (canning, bottling, filtering, etc.)
Yeast handling and lab work
Ability to run the still under normal operations
Ability to run the brewhouse under normal operations
General labor work throughout the facility
Follow established recipes and procedures
Attend events as needed to promote the products and brand
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Understanding of safety and environmental considerations
Other Qualifications
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Able to work efficiently and independently
Ability to lift up to 75lbs
6 months minimum industry experience (job specific training will be provided)
Mechanical aptitude a plus
