Our 20bbl mash tun has a temp probe down low and we have found that it gives sporadic questionable readings - maybe due to being in a poorly mixed spot. We are looking to add a reliable digital thermometer with a long enough probe for us to check various spots/depths in our mash. Does anyone have one they would suggest? We have been using an analog compost thermometer as a backup but we don't find it to be all that accurate when we test it against our trusted mercury glass thermometer.
